How to find time to learn after work
My software developer colleagues often ask me where I do get all the time for reading all the tech books or articles, watching conference talks and listening to podcasts. I analyzed my consumption for November and December and here is, what I did (and that's only the tech related content): List
Powerful Machine Learning at Your Fingertips by Jonatan Klosko | ElixirConf EU 2023
Two years ago Nx laid the foundation for efficient numerical computation in Elixir. Soon followed Axon bringing the building blocks for training and running Neural Networks. At this talk we will focus on a new part of the story - Bumblebee - and we will see how using powerful models is just a few lines of code (or clicks) away. Talk objectives: Show how the Elixir community is building a streamlined Machine Learning experience and lowering the barrier to get from idea to deployment. Also, to get you excited about a new category of applications and the future. - an interesting thing Jonatan mentions here - in order to load model parameters from huggingface with Bumblebee, they wrote a library Unpickler for loading data serialized with Python's pickle format in elixir!
